The Battle Jacket Museum's mission is to provide an entirely accessible online experience celebrating and documenting DIY, punk, and alternative material culture. Battle jackets have been a unique form of expression and identity in many subcultures for decades, and the museum is working to not only showcase the intensely personal relationship people have with their own creations, but foster a sense of community through free art programs.
